ABSTRACT
The model of the traditional nuclear family has been forgotten in American society, as evidenced by statistical data comparing, over the last few decades, the number of marriages ending in divorces. Aim: This article aims to present the activities of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to promote the institution of marriage and the family. Method: As part of the work on the text, an analytical and synthetic method was used, which allowed the presenting of a number of initiatives undertaken for the family using the latest technological achievements. Conclusions: In the face of difficulties, the American Church undertakes initiatives not only for believers, but also for seekers and non-believers. Comprehensible language, various communication channels and an interesting way of presenting content are employed to “promote” married and family life among members of American society
